Darling Doris

Okay so there is a story behind this. In the active Dnd Campain I am in with Shalamarr the ranger, our party was to take out the catapults of an Orcish army who were laying seidge to a Human city. They boys (as I am the only girl in the game) needed something to use as reps for the Catapults and grabbed my set of WonderBra pin up girl coasters.

This made me wonder if like WWII Soldiers, The orchish army would also have pin-ups painted on their weapons. Hence Doris here.

Now I do not, in any way, mean this as a shot at plus sized girls. Far from it. Due to being exposed to DnD as a very small girl by my brother, when I first saw Retrun of The Jedi, I though the Gramorian (sp) Guards at Jabba's palace were infact Orcs. Ever since I have pictured orcs being big due to muscle mass, like those Guys in Star Wars. 1930-40's Pin Up girls were curvey in comparison to todays standards of Beauty (I prefer the 30-40's look myself to the toothpick girls of today), so an Orcish Pin up, in my mind would be a shapely lady like Doris.

The name Darling Doris and the word Curahee (probably misspelled) are a referance to Band of Brothers.
